Valerie Bertinelli has shared her weight loss journey over the years and has been an inspiration to many. Whether she’s been on casual outings or at public events, she’s often showed off her incredible figure in various fashionable outfits.
In January 2022, she talked about how she doesn’t weigh herself and why. “No matter how low that number on the scale would get, it was never quite low enough to keep me safe, and when it would rise, and it was higher, I would think, ‘Well that’s it. I can’t go out in public. People are going to judge me, and I’m ugly, and I’m fat, and I’m not worth anything,’ because that old lie from as a young child was repeating inside of me,” she explained, in an interview on The View.
In October 2023, she also tried on clothes she wore before she lost weight and tried them on again, in a new video. “It’s nice to see how far I’ve come emotionally,” she wrote in the caption. She also told people that their bodies do not define them.
