‘The Crown’ Season 3
‘The Crown’ follows Queen Elizabeth II’s reign from the very beginning. Claire Foy originated the role of Queen Elizabeth II in the first two seasons of ‘The Crown.’ Oscar-winner Olivia Colman is taking over the role for seasons 3 and 4. ‘Outlander’ star Tobias Menzies is replacing Matt Smith as Prince Philip. Helena Bonham Carter stars as Princess Margaret and Ben Daniels stars as Lord Snowdon. Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles will be played by Josh O’Connor and Emerald Fennell. Marion Bailey, Erin Doherty, and more also have key roles in season 3 as the Queen Mother and Princess Anne. Emma Corrin will play Princess Diana but she won’t make her first appearance on the show until season 4. ‘The Crown’ season 3 is set to debut in 2019 and will chronicle the queen’s reign in the ’60s and the ’70s.
