Selena Gomez & Francia Raisa have been best friends for years. The two made headlines together in summer 2017, when Francia bravely donated one of her kidneys to Selena. The surgery was successful, but not without complications. “Selena did have a complication, too,” Francia told ‘W Magazine.’ “A few hours after our surgery, I woke up and had a text from her that said, ‘I’m really scared.’ My kidney was very active, and when it turned I broke an artery. They had to take her into emergency surgery and get a vein from her leg and build a new artery to keep my kidney in place. She could have died.” Luckily, the two have remained close friends to this day, and like to unwind together by eating Mexican food, Francia told HL EXCLUSIVELY! She also revealed that the two want to be in a movie together someday.
