New Shows Premiering In 2020 — ‘Katy Keene’
The year 2020 means a whole new decade is upon us, as well as new shows. Brand-new series will be premiering in the early days of the new year and into the first couple of months of the new year. One of those shows is The CW’s ‘Katy Keene.’ The show is a spinoff of the network’s hit show ‘Riverdale’ and follows the lives and loves of four iconic Archie Comics characters — fashion legend-to-be Katy Keene, singer/songwriter Josie McCoy, performer Jorge Lopez/Ginger, and It Girl Pepper Smith — as they chase their twenty-something dreams in New York City together. The series stars ‘Pretty Little Liars’ fave Lucy Hale, Ashleigh Murray, Katherine LaNasa, Julia Chan, Jonny Beauchamp, Lucien Laviscount, Zane Holtz, and Camille Hyde. ‘Katy Keene’ will premiere Feb. 6, 2020. ‘Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist’
‘Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist’ will have a special premiere preview on Jan. 7 and will then move to Sundays starting Feb. 16. The show stars Jane Levy, Skylar Astin, Alex Newell, John Clarence Stewart, with Peter Gallagher and Mary Steenburgen.
‘Deputy’
‘Deputy’ premieres Jan. 2 on FOX. The series stars Stephen Dorff.
‘For Life’
‘For Life’ premieres Feb. 11. The show is inspired by the life of Isaac Wright Jr. and is a fictional serialized legal and family drama about a prisoner who becomes a lawyer, litigating cases for other inmates while fighting to overturn his own life sentence for a crime he didn’t commit.
‘The Bachelor’
Peter Weber is your new Bachelor! His second chance at love begins Jan. 6 when season 24 premieres.
‘Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector’
‘Lincoln’ premieres Jan. 10 on NBC. The series stars Russell Hornsby, Michael Imperioli, and Arielle Kebbel.
‘9-1-1: Lone Star’
Rob Lowe stars in the ‘9-1-1’ spinoff ‘9-1-1: Lone Star.’ The show in premieres with a special two-night event beginning Jan. 19 following the NFC Championship Game and continuing with its time period premiere on Jan. 20.
‘Filthy Rich’
‘Filthy Rich’ will premiere midseason on FOX. The series stars Kim Cattrall, Gerald McRaney, and Corey Cott.
‘Indebted’
‘Indebted’ will premiere Jan. 6 on NBC. The series stars Fran Drescher, Adam Pally, Steven Weber, Abby Elliott, and Jessy Hodges.
