So let’s break it down. By the end of the July 29 episode of Girl Meets World, one or both fandoms might be left heartbroken. The Girl Meets World writers have confirmed that a “decision” will be made about Lucaya and Rucas. Raise your hand if you’re freaking out!

Their cryptic tweets also tease that the decision won’t be an easy one. “And as you will see, the characters have minds of their own,” the writers’ room tweeted on July 24. “And because of that, they will examine the positions we have put them in. And the story will let us finally know what is important. Enjoy it.”
The “what is important” line seems pretty key. Could the girls decide that their friendship means more than a boy? Lucaya and Rucas are both important, but not as important as Raya!
In the promo for the upcoming episode, the new guy Josh starts interacting with Riley a little too much, and it makes Lucas jealous. Josh’s appearance at the ski lodge turns the love triangle upside down. But will he end up being a major factor in the Lucaya/Rucas debate? (Probably!)
There is a video going around on YouTube that may or may not spoil the ending. Since we’re good people, we’re not going to spoil it here. But if this video is legit, Lucas does make his choice between Riley and Maya. Girl Meets World airs Fridays at 8 p.m. ET on Disney Channel.
