While swimming at her local RecCenter, the woman who would become her mother-agent noticed that Kate had ‘it.’ After taking a few Polaroids ‘in braces and stupid outfits,’ she would tell Fox News Magazine, she was soon modeling for kids’ brands. Fast-forward 15 years later, and she’s one of the more gorgeous women on the planet. With her frame and distinct hair, she has become a favorite model for brands like Victoria’s Secret, Ralph Lauren, and Brooks Brothers. She also has been a favorite of the ‘Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue’ readers. She was crowned Rookie of the Year in 2013 via a fan vote (winning nearly 41% of the total votes cast) and she marked her eighth consecutive appearance in the issue in 2020. That year, she was also given a spot on the cover.
