Whoa! We already knew that Kim Kardashian parted ways with her longtime bodyguard, Pascal Duvier, following her Paris robbery, but we had NO IDEA it was Kanye West's decision and that he had reportedly 'threatened to leave [Kim]' if she didn't agree with the change.
“Kanye [West] held a family meeting and told everyone that he felt Pascal [Duvier] didn’t do his job. Kanye said he had cleaned house,” a source told InTouch. “Kim [Kardashian] lost it. She started crying and yelling that she wanted Pascal to stay.”
Kim allegedly threw such a tantrum that “[Kanye] threatened to leave Kim and take the kids if she wasn’t willing to do it his way from now on.”

Obviously, Kanye was not happy after Kim was gagged and held at gunpoint in Paris in early October, and he wanted to take steps to ensure that something like that never happens again.

Kim was initially reluctant, but she eventually gave in to Kanye’s demands. “Kanye has fired so many of their bodyguards in the last year that Kim is living in fear that at any moment one of them will expose her deepest and darkest secrets,” the source said.
Bodyguards do sign a non-disclosure agreement, but apparently they’re not ironclad. These guys have been “privy to conversations, arguments, likes and dislikes, how they act day to day,” etc. “Kim is freaking out right now. Her life could be ruined at any moment.” So scary.
“They couldn’t take any more chances,” another source previously told ET. “It’s a pretty tough situation overall and they love Pascal.” Love is a good thing, but safety is more important.
