Ivana Trump, the first wife of President Donald J. Trump, has passed away at age 73. The Czechoslovakian socialite was wed to the real estate mogul from 1977 to 1992 and they had three children together, Ivanka, Donald Jr. and Eric. Their divorce was major tabloid fodder, after DT’s affair with model Marla Maples was exposed.
Ivana, who was married once before Trump, went on to marry and divorce twice more. She began her life as a skiing prodigy, then model, before comings to the US via Canada.
Donald Trump released a statement upon his ex-wife’s passing, saying, ‘I am very saddened to inform all of those that loved her, of which there were many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City. She was a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life. Her pride and joy were her three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. She was so proud of them as we were all so proud of her. Rest In Peace, Ivana!’
