‘Heels’ is a new STARZ series that premieres August 15. The show follows the small-town pro wrestling promotion in Duffy, Georgia. It’s a family-owned promotion, with Jack Spade at the helm of everything. He’s got a younger brother, Ace Space, who is the star of the DWL. Jack and Ace are both brothers and rivals. They are also at war over their father’s legacy. Jack controls everything that goes on inside the ring, sometimes at the expense of those closest to him. In the ring, someone has to play the good guy (the face) and someone has to be the enemy (the heels). Outside of the ring, those lines get blurred. Jack is trying to keep the DWL afloat and expand, but it’s a lot harder than he thinks. Stephen Amell plays Jack Spade, the oldest Spade brother. Jack is trying to take the DWL to the next level.
Alexander Ludwig
Alexander Ludwig plays Ace Spade, Jack’s younger brother. He’s the star of the DWL, but he has his own demons outside of the ring.
Alison Luff
Alison Luff stars as Staci Spade, Jack’s wife. She’s the mother of Thomas Spade and worries about how much time and effort Jack puts into the DWL.
Kelli Berglund
Kelli Berglund plays Crystal Tyler, Ace’s valet and love interest. She yearns to compete as a wrestler on her own.
Chris Bauer
Chris Bauer stars as Wild Bill Hancock. He’s a former wrestling star who is now a wrestling scout.
Mary McCormack
Mary McCormack stars as Willie Day. Willie is the managing producer behind the DWL.
Allen Maldonado
Allen Maldonado plays Rooster Robbins. He’s one of the best wrestlers at the DWL.
James Harrison
James Harrison stars as Apocalypse. Unlike his fellow DWL guys, he has no illusions of fame or glory.
Trey Tucker
Trey Tucker plays Bobby Pin. He’s one of the wrestlers at the DWL.
Alexander Ludwig & Kelli Berglund
Ace and Crystal have a complicated relationship. She’s his valet, but they have more going on behind the scenes.
