Selena Gomez, 24, was thrilled to hang out with Brad Pitt, 52, and talk about their movie The Big Short at a Golden Globes after-party in January…but his wife, Angelina Jolie, 41, was certainly not! Now that the longtime Hollywood couple is getting a divorce, a shocking report claims that a flirty pic of Brad and Sel was a big part of their problems.

“Angie blew a gasket when she saw Selena’s Instagram and heard through friends about how Brad and Selena flirted so shamelessly,” the National Enquirer claims. “Now, Selena is bragging to everyone that Brad is gung-ho to make another movie with her.” Apparently, that didn’t please Angie, because she “warned Brad to cut all ties with Selena” and forbade him from working with her again, the mag reports.

Selena must have had a great talk with the actor all those months ago, too, because she even invited his and Angie’s kids, Shiloh and Zahara Jolie-Pitt, to her concert at the Staples Center in July. Brad didn’t join the gals at the show, but they did still get a special backstage treatment and meet and greet!
Of course, the “Kill ‘Em With Kindness’ singer has been M.I.A. for a few weeks now — after canceling her tour at the end of August to deal with anxiety, panic attacks and depression, she hasn’t surfaced once. Really, though, if this “flirty” pic did contribute to the split at all, it was only a small part of it…Brad and Angie clearly had a LOT of problems they weren’t able to work through. So sad.
