‘Boy Meets World’ Reunion: Eric & Mr. Feeny On ‘Girl Meets World’
Are you ready for some Fe-he-he-he-he-nay?
Well, get ready. Uncle Eric is heading to Girl Meets World in season two, along with Mr. Feeny.
Rejoice! The writers of the show first teased the news on their Twitter account on Dec. 3. They tweeted: “Announcement: Today’s script at the table read is called Girl Meets Mr. Squirrels.”
This is a clear reference to the alternate universe episode in season seven where Eric Matthews is an insane hermit who renames himself “Plays With Squirrels.”
The writers also revealed that Mr. Feeny, Eric and more will be crucial in the second season.
“Shawn, Eric and Mr. Feeny will be an important part of season 2,” they tweeted. “Lives will change. People will grow. People won’t.”
Ben first told HollywoodLife.com back in June that he’d love to have his onscreen brother return. It was bound to happen, since Eric is such a beloved character from the original series. It was just a matter of when.
We know that his Feeny call after all these years is going to exceed any and every expectation.
