‘Downton Abbey’ World Premiere In London
Welcome home! ‘Downton Abbey’ fans across the globe are ready to return to the estate of the Crawley family, as the beloved British Television series hits the big screen with a major motion picture in September 2019. Picking up just where the acclaimed show left the beloved lords, ladies, and Abbey staff, ‘Downton Abbey’ the movie reunites nearly the entire original cast to revisit the lives of those who lived, worked, loved, and lost at the royal estate.
Since the film is a global event, the cast will be making their way around the globe to promote the film, starting in the UK, with the world premiere in London. Stars Hugh Bonneville, Elizabeth McGovern, Michelle Dockery, Laura Charmichael, Allen Leech, and more joined creator Julian Fellowes to walk the red carpet for the event, one week ahead of the big screen premiere.
