Debbie Gibson, 49, had a blast as a judge on the first season of ‘America’s Most Musical Family’ on Nickelodeon. As a a popstar herself, it was easy for her to relate to the talent she was helping discover on the hit show alongside judges Ciara, 34, and David Dobrik, 23. “I love new fresh talent, number one. Can’t get enough. And I grew up singing four part harmony with my sisters. We call ourselves the Gibson Girls and at a certain point they were like, “Deb, you’re the crazy showbiz sister. You can have it.” But we grew up singing together. My dad and I had grew up singing together. He did musicals with me literally as recently as last year when he visited me for the holidays. I have videos of us up on my Instagram, both singing Christmas songs. And so the idea of families getting together in their living rooms, in their garages, in their basements, rehearsing, it’s like so rooted in why people should be in music.”
