Caterina Scorsone, born October 16, 1981, is a Canadian actress. Caterina gained a lot of acclaim for her performance as the titular character in the sci-fi miniseries ‘Alice,’ a take on Lewis Carroll’s book ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.’ Following her appearance in the show, she earned the role of Amelia Shepherd on the series ‘Private Practice,’ in which she appeared from 2010-2013. She also appeared in a few episodes of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ before becoming a series regular cast member in 2014. Her character has also crossed over to the series ‘Station 19.’
Caterina married The Rescues band member Rob Giles in 2009. The two have three daughters together — Eliza, Paloma Michaela “Pippa,” and Arwen Lucinda “Lucky.” Caterina’s first and third pregnancies were written into ‘Private Practice’ and ‘Grey’s Anatomy.’ She is still a part of the show to this day.
