It’s unbelievable that the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles held all the star power during the 2015 BET Awards on June 28. Some of the biggest celebrities were there! Hosts Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross, the stars of Black-ish, did a great job — especially with their hilarious opening number that lightened the mood after Kendrick Lamar‘s powerful and shocking performance of “Alright” that kicked off the show.
There were plenty of surprises during the night. Sean “Diddy” Combs held a Bad Boy Reunion, which saw Lil Kim, Mase, Pharrell Williams and so many more join him for a medley of Bad Boy Records hits! More shocking than Lil’ Kim’s cameo — Diddy fell down in a hole in the floor during the performance! Yikes!
Chris Brown’s first performance of the night started off when he sang his new single, “Liquor,” before — surprise! — kicking into “A-Yo” with Tyga! He was joined by Omarion for their joint hit, “Post To Be.” The most surprising thing about this performance was Breezy’s ex, Rihanna, was seen singing and dancing along!
