Azealia Banks hasn't gotten into a Twitter feud for awhile, so she was overdue for a good one! Not that Wednesday, December 23 was any kind of holiday, but Azealia Banks gave us all a gift anyway by getting into one of her signature Twitter feuds -- this time potentially with Rihanna. The two artists are reportedly collaborating on RiRi's new album, and from the sound of Azealia's cryptic tweets, a collaboration isn't happening anymore. Click through to read the tweets!
This tiff may not be with Rihanna, but it certainly sounds like it! It was rumored that Azealia would be featured on Rihanna’s new album, and her tweets are about someone she was collaborating with — until they had some creative differences. The person didn’t like the way Azealia apparently domineered their work, and “chickened out” on the collaboration, according to the rapper.
Maybe Rihanna caught wind of Azealia’s altercation at the Up&Down nightclub in Manhattan on December 16? Azealia attempted to party crash a private event, and was furious when a security guard didn’t recognize her, or the fact that she was a celebrity. She shouted that she was a celeb, and that she was on Rihanna’s album Anti. Name dropping a yet unknown collaboration? Not good, Azealia.
To make matters worse, she pushed and shoved the guard, and bit her boob. She was subsequently arrested and charged with assault, disorderly conduct and harassment. It’s a possibility that Rihanna actually became upset about Azealia trying to use her name to get into a club, then behaving terribly!
